For all the folks who have asked about Tom Watson or his "Watson Wick" we humbly offer you this information. It is all we have, and though we are great fans of Tom and his brilliance, we neither accept mail for nor know much about the whereabouts of this gifted (if sometimes itinerant) inventor.
Tom Watson's black and white line-drawing, a diagram of his "Watson Wick" septic sytem, in three resolutions/sizes (clicking on these links will launch a new, separate browser window):
A 800 x 537 pixel version, the most web-friendly (205K)
A really huge 4000 x 3280 version, which is rich in detail but may be a long download (1.7 MB)
Same diagram again, a printer-version, saved at 450 dpi and meant to fit on a piece of ordinary "office paper" (8 1/2 x 11 inches) (1.7 MB)
Tom Watson's contact information, as far as we know of it:
PO Box 8
Embudo, NM 87531
We do not know if he is still at the above contact information or not.
We do not a list of places that use the Watson Wick.
We do not have a better copy of the diagram available here--our copy has the last few millimeters of right margin missing and we are fully aware of it.
If you see Tom before we do, tell him we miss his wit and his pancake-breakfast-septic-system discussions and would be glad to host a pancake breakfast here any time he's within, oh, 50 miles of Austin, Texas.
