wow how eloquently proposed. my sentiments exactly. you may want to try
eco-reality on saltspring island. i too am looking for the same,
unfortunatly my wife doesnt see things the same as me as yet. im quite
obsessed with the earthship concept. i am going to help on an earthship
build in may june ecoarksaskatchewan.com. thomas im sure would love to have
you come and learn.

keep me posted as to your advancements. i see these earthships taking off in
a huge way here in canada. i truly want to ride the wave of self sufficiency
right through to the end of the human condition, when we all become aware
that our ways have not been working. i have contacted most of the
eco-villages in western canada, and made my intentions apparent as to
wanting to build earthships. so far i have 4 potential builds. i just toured
a totally off grid home/office in scenic acres here in calgary. i see i
huge wave of conciousness sweeping the nation. i see things like clustered
housing, permaculture and concepts of working in harmony with the land
instead of against it - becoming high priority for many.

we are forming a group/board that is seeking out land at $500.00 per acre to
establish community around earthships if you are interested.

let me know what else you find. take care
vince
