Hello all in WWAT Land! My name is Aaron and I am ready for my next building adventure. The ideal project would be of a design that emphasizes minimal environmental impact, makes use of natural local renewable resources, and ultimately becomes a home that enhances the lives of those living there, the artisans that built it, and hopefully the community that it is a part of. Most recently I have been working as a building assistant to an owner/builder that is building an energy efficient home out of an 1890's timber framed barn. The barn was relocated from Michigan to Washington, re-erected on a slab with hydronics, wrapped in a skin of Structurally Insulated Panels, wired and plumbed for solar, and internally framed entirely with reclaimed lumber. With the exception of the timber frame resurrection I helped on all phases of the build. The need for my assistance is soon coming to an end, so I am looking to take the next step in search of my place in the natural building community. I am saving up to go to Yestermorrow Design Build School in the summer, so a paying gig would be ideal. And if this project requires travel I am game. (Especially if there is mountain biking, snow boarding, or water nearby.) Well thanks for your time and keep working towards a cleaner healthier way of building and living. Feel free to contact me @ 801-791-1260 or grow-n-flow at hotmail.com. Peace, Aaron
