WWAT: earthbag building intensive in september, appalachia

hey guys

we'd like to let yall know that we're having a building intensive in  
september focusing primarily on earthbag and timber framing. we're  
going to be building every day for the next year, but we're inviting  
all comers for internships for the last three weeks of september.  
we'll be hosting a more education-intensive workshop-style week with  
classes, trips, and talks for the last week in september, sunday 21  
through saturday 27. cost is very nominal - $5/day, as worktrade is  
expected. if this is still too expensive, alternate arrangements are  
possible. as for accomodations - if you have a comfortable camping set- 
up, please bring it - we're short on structures, but there is a bit of  
space yet.

classes will be on natural building principles and materials, plus  
whatever people want to learn. my fields of experience are solar  
power, natural building principles, earthbag, cob, timber framing,  
straw bale, sustainable timber harvest, permaculture, and salvage and  
scrap building.

"we" in this case is ULINAWI, a new community in a cluster of  
communities in the sequatchie valley of tennessee. for pictures and
