Here is some other information regarding the trip to Gaviotas. 
Please keep in mind that the travelling date or some aspects of the journey might be subject to change.
Travel date: March 5th 2010 (friday). 
Title of the journey: “Gaviotas: a new renaissance in the tropic – an academic and ecoturistic visit of high level”.

      4. Technologies: Energy, Water, Architecture, Transport.       5. To encourage the culture of "enthusiam" and "creativity". 

Journey 

6:30 – 7:00 a.m. Register – Departure from Bogotá.

7:00 – 8:30 a.m. Flight to Gaviotas – Breakfast.

8:30 – 8:45 a.m. Arrival to Gaviotas and deliver of tropical fruits and water from the forest.

8:45 – 9:30 a.m. Conversation with Paolo Lugari

10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Guided visits 

(1:00 p.m.) – Lunch.

      1. Tropical wet forest.         2. Plantation technologies.      3. Resination of the forest (arboquímia).
      4. "Colofón" plant on turpentine and biodiesel.      5. Natural water bottling plant.  
6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Return to Bogotá.

Estimated cost: 1100 U.S. dollars (or 1.995.000 colombian pesos). Please note that the price is subject the exchange rate of the date of payment. I'll keep you updated.
