In case anyone else wants to get off the list, here's how you do it:
Go to <http://greenbuilder.com/mailman/listinfo/gaviotas>
at the bottom of the page, enter your subscribed email address in the
field and click the "unsubscribe or edit options" button.
You'll be asked for your password. If you don't have it, scroll down
to have it emailed to you. Once you have the password, log in.
The following page will have an Unsubscribe button and a "yes I
really want to unsubscribe" checkbox a little ways down on the left.
Use them.
Yes, it's a little complicated, but it insures that only someone with
access to the subscriber's email can unsubscribe an address. (Some
lists are more contentious than this, and members have been known to
try unsubscribing others whose opinions they disagree with).
