[Gaviotas] Finding the Manuals

Between the fuzzy pictues and my fuzzy Spanish, I can't be sure of what the
manual is describing but, it surely looks to me like what they have is a
galvanized "sleeve" that they are screwing onto the end of a PCV pipe. They
are also insering a "tiro [piston?] rod inside the piping. I see no
indication that the pump is anything but a piston pump like those that are
found all over the world. You pump the handle, the piston moves inside the
cylinder and water is pumped. It is great that they introduced them where
they were needed but, the design is conventional. Because the pump is at the
bottom of the piping, it can pump from any depth. That is also conventional.
Why Weisman made up his fantastic story is beyond me. Maybe someone used him
and he wasn't technical enough to see thru it. I think that Paulo got stuck
with it and then stonewalls when it comes to actually letting anyone see the
pump. Pauli says it is 4 times as efficient as any existing pump. That's
bullshit. He should apologize. Dave Johnson

Thanks for this! I've been looking for the Gaviotas windmill manual
everywhere -- The community has been testing dozens of windmill designs and
apparently this is the most effective and efficient design they've found.
